- 1/4 cup diced tomato
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, grated cheddar cheese, diced jalapeno peppers, breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat and grease it lightly
Grill or cook the chicken burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice char on the outside
While the burgers are cooking, prepare the guacamole
In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado and mix it with lime juice, diced tomato, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper
Stir until well combined
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned
Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun
Top with a generous spoonful of guacamole and cover with the top bun
