Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 4 slices Provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for grilling
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
While the grill is heating, divide the ground turkey into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Season both sides with salt and pepper
Brush the grill grates or pan with cooking oil to prevent sticking
Place the turkey burger patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Provolone cheese on each patty to melt
While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly browned
To assemble the burgers, spread Thousand Island dressing on the bottom half of each bun
Place a turkey patty with melted Provolone on top of the dressing
Top the patty with shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, diced onions, and diced tomatoes
Place the top half of the bun on the ingredients to complete the burger
Serve the Turkey Cheeseburgers with Provolone and Thousand Island Dressing hot and enjoy
